Yes, we offer various family rooms with connecting doors. Our Classic Family Suite features two separate bedrooms—one with a double bed and one with a bunk bed or pull-out sofa—connected by a door.
The Superior Family Suite features two double rooms, each with a double bed—ideal for families looking for a little more space and comfort.
Is there a refrigerator in the room?
Upon request, we will be happy to provide you with a refrigerator in your room.

What is the access to the lake like—can children stand in the water there?
Our hotel is located right at the outlet of Lake Millstatt. The beach is shallow and easy to access, so children can stand safely and splash around. For our youngest guests, there is a separate children’s area where they can play in peace and safety. For those who enjoy swimming, there are several entry points to get right into the water—perfect for a relaxing day of swimming fun for the whole family.

Do you offer children's meals or special children's menus?
Yes, of course. In addition to the three main courses for our guests, we offer a special children’s menu every day, and children’s juice is available free of charge at the buffet.
Can allergies or food intolerances be accommodated?
Upon request, we will be happy to provide you with a refrigerator in your room.
Leisure & Activities
What activities are available for children at the hotel?
There are plenty of opportunities for guests of all ages to let off steam and have fun. These include pedal boats, kayaks, and stand-up paddleboards, children’s bicycles, e-scooters (for ages 12 and up), a playground with a swing set and a zip line, and a children’s playroom with various games. Volleyball, tennis, and table tennis courts are also available.
Does the hotel offer children's entertainment?
Yes, our children’s entertainment program runs from Monday through Friday and offers a variety of activities—from crafts to hiking, mini-golf, and water games, as well as movie nights. Most activities take place right at the hotel, though some are held off-site, where parents are always welcome to join. It’s the perfect way for children to have fun and quickly make friends with other young guests.
Are there any family-friendly bike paths or hiking trails?
Yes, there are many trails around Lake Millstatt that are perfect for families. Gentle hikes through forests and meadows, scenic loop trails with views of the lake, and easy bike routes offer fun for all ages—including exercise, nature experiences, and quality time together.
Pets & Special Requests
Are dogs allowed in the hotel?
Yes, dogs are welcome—there is a surcharge of €14 per day, excluding food.
Are dogs allowed on the hotel grounds?
Yes, your dog is more than welcome here. He is welcome to accompany you throughout the hotel grounds, but please keep him on a leash at all times. We ask for your understanding that dogs are not permitted in the dining room.
Can we get special pillows or bedding?
Yes, upon request, we are happy to provide hypoallergenic bedding and adjust pillows or blankets to your preferences. Additional pillows are also available upon request.
